Today, I’m taking you through a personal journal of my day… from motherhood, to my Tone It Up Lifestyle, and home life, here’s what a typical weekday looks like.

Keep in mind, these are all pics of the day, but not shown is the chaos— chasing a toddler, cleaning, every-day stress, zoom calls, IVF stuff (more on that soon!), meltdowns (both toddler and mommy lol), and all the normal stuff we all go through day-to-day.

Here’s a look at what a typical day is like in our home…

But first…Collagen in my Coffee

For me, a day has to start with a good cup of coffee and gratitude. While making my coffee, I think of 3 things I’m grateful for and I set an intention for the day.

My go-to recipe is 2 shots of espresso, mixed with a scoop of Tone It Up Vanilla Collagen Creamer, topped with almond milk and ice. It helps with your hair, skin, nails, and to get glowing right away! It mixes easily and it tastes amazing.

Marine collagen is also more bioavailable than ‘bovine’ (most other collagens, which is from cow), so it’s absorbed in your body better.

If I don’t have collagen in my coffee or I’m running out the door, I have our vegan Collagen and Beauty Gummies. They’re so delicious and help your body’s natural collagen production!

I always try to find a moment in the day for my body. This is typically, post coffee before Bella wakes up. It’s so important to take that time out of your day where you can be away from distractions, move your body, and prepare yourself for the busy day ahead.

Some days this looks like a 6:40 workout in the Tone It Up app, a move-based routine (a new feature in the app!), or some days it’s simply a walk with Brian in between meetings. I’ve found that when I listen to my body and move it in the way that it is craving, then I am more ready to take on the day.

Breakfast

Lately I have been loving a green juice after a workout! It’s so refreshing and helps to decrease inflammation in the body. My favorite combination has been celery, lemon juice, and ginger. That is typically followed by an energizing breakfast–some days this is the 6:40 Scramble or, I can’t resist the OG Tone It Up girl breakfast— protein pancakes with the Vanilla Protein Powder.

Pre-School Dropoff

We have a pretty good routine down getting Bella off to pre-school. I pack her lunch and Brian gets her all dolled up… yup, you read that right. Brian usually gets her dressed (with her input, of course). He owns a company called Baby Barn, which has the cutest clothes for babies and kids! Then if she lets me… I do her hair. She chooses her accessories and shoes each day… and sometimes that’s her stuffed animals. Soon she’ll be dressing herself * happy tear *.

Work Life

Every day and week looks different. Some days I’m on my computer all day (like today). Others I’m recording a podcast or filming something for Tone It Up. I love having a calendar and journal where I not only map out my day, but where I can write out how I want to show up for my team and the community.

Last week, I was so excited to be reunited with Stef and Tori from Tone It Up. We shot some exciting new additions and workouts for the app. Here’s a sneak peek of our day!

Lunchtime

This is usually something lean, clean, and green! I love the recipes from my 6:40 Meal Plan! It comes with your program in the app… it’s 164 pages of everything that I eat in a day!

Pick me up…

In the afternoon, I pick Bella up from school and we both have a little afternoon pick-me-up. Depending on what I’ve had earlier in the day, I’ll either grab a piece of fresh fruit, veggies and hummus, a smoothie from my meal plan, or grab a protein bar or cookie.

Dinner

Lots of our meals are made by Chef Brian (thanks,honey!). We love keeping it simple when we’re cooking in with tray bakes or Brian’s speciality–Lean Sauté. But there are some nights where the day has been busy and we want to soak up the extra time with, Bella. Those nights call for a pizza and salad dinner.

Evening Routine

Our evenings always look different. We have a solid routine of activities and dinner with Bella, but sometimes we still need to wrap up emails, work, writing, podcasts, etc. Most times we’ll wait until after Bella goes down for bed… and then sometimes she has FOMO and will stay up until 10p with us. We do the best we can each day… it almost feels like we run out of time.

I’m working on delegating more, becoming more efficient with my schedule, and prioritizing so we can shift our evenings to relax, but in the meantime, it looks a little bit like this.

After singing songs, reading books, and doing all the things… we’re exhausted. I don’t really watch TV, so I just check in one last time on instagram #TIUteam and #TIU640 and then head to bed.

    Very similar schedules! Me time before the rest of the house wakes up, pre-school drop-off, work hustle, pre-school pick up, dinner and entertaining the small humans, then collapse and do it all again the next day 😅
