This is officially my new phone background…
Who else is taking this weekend to journal and reflect on the last year? I’m spending Isabelle’s naptime writing down everything that we experienced, what we witnessed with the world, what we learned, and what we are holding onto tighter going into this new chapter. 💫
This year has been a year of growth, love, and loss. Between losing two pregnancies, not being able to see my parents (it was actually really hard not being with my mom post-surgeries), and of course all of us being in lockdown, seeing the world struggle, seeing the country so divided, and trying to keep our heads above water at home— I’m holding onto hope that the most beautiful things are coming this year… healing, health, and happiness~ for all of us.
Reflecting on this year, our happiest moments lead to our hardest moments, but were also met with the most beautiful experiences. A lot of you have written me this year that have also gone through similar trauma and loss. My heart is with you and I like to imagine our angels together, looking after us. ☁️
So 2021… we’re all ready for you.
And whatever it is that has kept you from doing what you love and prevented you from growth and being your true self… it’s time for expansion, new experiences, and fulfillment.
Healing looks like— carrying on with a small piece of our heart that isn’t completely put back together. And that’s okay.
Strength looks like— having good and bad days and being in touch with what we need physically and mentally.
Courage looks like— going into this year without knowing the outcome or what the future holds, but moving forward and leading with our hearts.
Let’s have the courage to do what we love and let go of our fears, judgements, past traumas, and shame. As soon as you start spreading your wings, the most extraordinary experiences will come to life and what’s meant to be will rise with you. 🦋
Tell me below a few ways you’re going to let go and allow yourself to grow into your most beautiful and happy self.
PS… so many incredible things are coming. I’m so grateful to be on this journey with all of you! 🙏🏼✨💫
