It’s almost springtime and it’s the perfect opportunity to freshen up your space! Here are a few ways to spruce up your home.

1. Clean up! It’s time to de-clutter. Organize all your surfaces and go through those junk drawers.
2. Bring in some greenery. There’s nothing like fresh plants to liven up your space. I love kentia palms, fiddle leaf fig, ferns, snake plants (low maintenance), and succulents. Head to your local nursery and pick up plants, soil and pots. Have some pots? Spray paint them to give them a new look!
3. New pillows + candles are so underrated!
4. Out with the old, in with the new. Maybe replace something by selling it on a marketplace and bringing in a piece that inspires you.

You may have seen, we’ve recently been in the process of renovating our hacienda in Arizona… seems like the longest project ever, but Brian’s going all DIY, haha. Hopefully, we’ll have a kitchen by summer!

I’ve been slowly updating each room with new pieces and accessories. It helps to do one room at a time.

I made a bunch of selections from Serena and Lily to transform the space into our own little Havana-styled home. Right now (March 12-15) they have a 20% SALE! Here are a few of my favorite pieces from their shop. The quality and size is incredible. You know when you order something and it’s so much smaller than you expected? The size of everything from Serena and Lily is perfect and makes such a big difference.

Our entry area is such an open area that I felt like it needed a little something to break up the transition the living room. The Blithedale Dining Table has been the perfect piece. I love the rattan design, even underneath the glass top, it has unique detailing. While at the same time it blends in perfectly with the rest of the space. It makes a great dining table or patio table too. If you love this piece, there’s also a matching coffee table and side table in the same design.

These Mattituck Arm Chairs have been some of my favorite pieces! I highly recommend them. They have a substantial amount of space so you can cozy up in them while still looking chic. They’re much bigger than they look in this picture too. Another detail I love about them is the gold accent that gives them a little bit of a modern flare. Plus it adds another texture to the room.

To tie all of the natural woven pieces together and finish off this space, we added the Ventana Chandelier. I love the details of the beads throughout this piece. It’s also substantial (I love large chandeliers to really make an impact in a space)… it’s perfect for an entryway, dining area, or living room. Accessories

One of easiest ways to spruce up a space is by adding accessories. Simple things like throw pillows and candles can completely change the vibe of an entire room! Here are some of the Serena and Lily accessories that are on my list to add to our entry and living room.
