Two days ago I shared a letter that said in part: “my mission was and will always be to help you live a fulfilled, authentic, and beautiful life. These values also include love, honesty, equality, inclusivity, diversity, and helping women who have faced adversity…. I am focusing my energy and purpose on Live Beautifully where I can freely serve you in all of these areas.”

Since the release of this letter, I have been receiving messages asking if I still have a role at the company, Tone It Up.

I am now able to share that, effective early March 2023, I no longer serve on the board of directors for Tone It Up with its Private Equity Partners, Tengram Capital. I am also no longer an Employee or Shareholder of Tone It Up. I apologize for the long waiting period to hear from me, and I appreciate your patience while I gained clarity on if and when I could share this with you.

I never wanted or intended this: founding Tone It Up was my life’s plan, never a business plan. Being your trainer has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Whatever you feel right now, your feelings are valid and I have felt it all immensely with you. This is a new chapter for everyone and I wish the company and Karena well as they continue under the Tone It Up name.

I want you to know that community is my heart— you are my heart. That has always been my purpose and will never change. I am here for you, my focus continues to be community, and my mission will always be to serve you. Thank you for everything on this journey together… I appreciate you and I’m grateful for your support, kindness, compassion, and love.
