Isabelle’s birthday, Arizona, and Life Lately

Hi I'm Katrina~ Welcome to Live Beautifully! We connect on all things life, love, motherhood, careers, and overcoming obstacles, together.

Hi beautiful,

I hope you’re doing amazing. Are you dressing up for Halloween? Isabelle is insisting on us both being Wonder Woman… so I’ll be sure to post some pics! Tag me in your Halloween pics… I can’t wait to see!

The past couple weeks have been really special. My parents came to California for Isabelle’s 3rd birthday and we celebrated with a Minnie Mouse Party at the park. We also flew to Arizona (45 min flight!) and they were able to visit our new place there. My grandparents (mom’s parents) used to live in Scottsdale, so they were really excited to be back. My dad was of course scoping out all the local golf courses and my mom was enjoying her sauv blanc by the pool.

Aside from work, daily zoom calls, 6:40 workouts, and just running around keeping up with a toddler, I’ve been noticing myself wanting more quiet time… no social, no phone, and just family time. Do you feel the same? I’m noticing girlfriends also share that they are enjoying getting out and just disconnecting from our computers, TVs, and phones. Maybe it was 2020 where we were so dependent on technology * thank goodness for it, actually * that now we’re craving simplicity. What can we do in the next 8 weeks to really impact how we live each day before the ball drops for 2022?

Anyway, I hope this inspires you to make all the little moments big ones and to celebrate every milestone in your life. And if you’re wondering if you should get that costume for halloween… buy it, wear it, rock it, and have some fun this weekend.

MINNIE MOUSE PARTY

Isabelle chose the theme of her party… so we amazon prime’d all of the Minnie decor possible. Her dress is from amazon too. Here’s the link for all of you that DM’d me!

We had a local bakery make a simple white cake and I just ordered rose gold sprinkles off amazon along with the minnie ears.

These adorable cookies were made by Kristy, the founder of The Cookie Meister.

ARIZONA

Party round 2! We showed my parents around Scottsdale and Brian’s parents made an Elsa cake… it was adorable.

Oh… and this memorable moment happened at Barnes and Noble. I shared a video HERE of when she found my Strong Magazine cover.

Thanks for visiting Live Beautifully today… sending so much love your way!!
