The Fall Edit: Earth tones, natural textures, & warmth

Hi I'm Katrina~ Welcome to Live Beautifully! We connect on all things life, love, motherhood, careers, and overcoming obstacles, together.

Ready for fall? Warm up your home for the season with these easy tips. I also curated some pretty fall decor items for you below. Cheers to pumpkin spice cookies, apple picking, and a beautiful season with your family.

Textures + Textiles

A simple way to warm up your space for fall is adding earth tone textures and textiles. I love bringing out the cozy knit blankets and pillows, copper accents, baskets, amber glassware and we can’t forget… real pumpkins! Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s usually have beautiful pumpkins that are dusty green, cream, and orange. If you have any plaid, velvet, or knit textures, set them out in your baskets under your fresh apples and place on your counter under your candles.

Organic florals and Vases

Florals and vases can transform your space. In the fall, I love adding leaves, branches and wheatgrass. You can grab fresh branches for your home or order some tasteful faux plants. My go-to is going to a local flower-mart or ordering on Afloral. Mix up your vases with warm terracotta, amber, or these amazing textured pots.

Candles

I think fall scents have to be my favorite. For years now, I have loved the Anthropologie candles Boulangerie and Capri Blue– they have the most amazing fall collection. I just bought this candle for a friend called ‘Moody‘ and it’s incredible! Another go-to is Target, they never fail on their candle selection.

Dinnerware

If you’ve been connected with me for a while, you know one of my favorite things to do is to collect vintage dinner and drinkware. For fall, I love adding amber depression glass, gold champagne coups, copper cups, and green glass. Even if it’s a set of 4 unique glasses, it’s fun to collect over the years. Every time I bring out our pink champagne glasses with Isabelle, I think of our wedding!

Cheers!
